I am a Spanish tutor with over five years of experience teaching Spanish to students from different backgrounds, with a strong focus on English-speaking learners who want to communicate confidently and naturally in Spanish.
As a fluent English speaker, I understand the challenges that English speakers face when learning Spanish — not only from a grammatical perspective, but also when it comes to pronunciation, confidence, and cultural nuances. This allows me to explain concepts clearly, anticipate common mistakes, and create a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe to speak and make progress.
My teaching approach goes beyond traditional grammar lessons. While structure is important, I strongly believe that language is about connection and culture. In my classes, students learn how Spanish is actually spoken in real-life situations, including expressions, tone, and cultural context from the Latin and Spanish-speaking world. This helps them build more authentic relationships and communicate with confidence.
I work mainly with students who already have a basic or intermediate level of Spanish but struggle to speak fluently. My lessons are fully personalized and focused on the student’s specific goals. I encourage conversation from the very first session, provide real-time corrections, and share practical pronunciation tips to help students sound more natural.
My goal is to help students stop translating in their heads and start expressing themselves confidently in Spanish, while also gaining a deeper cultural understanding of the language.
